I'm thankful for the opportunity to have grown up in the Great State of Idaho, where I have been blessed to spend many wonderful hours in awe of its natural beauty while rendering it on canvas or paper. Outdoor painting may be beset with the challenges of wind, rain, bugs, heat, and cold, but the rewards can be so profound each time a sunset takes your breath away, a deer wanders through the meadow in front of you, or a special painting seems to magically sweep you along. The time spent painting near a stream or in the shadow of a mountain is a great joy and keeps me going back for more.    

Friends, family and the people I meet also offer me unlimited painting opportunities. I will never run out of subjects to paint in this lifetime.
