Plein air painting is a unique art form that has been around for a long time. With a new insurgence throughout the nation in groups participating in this field connecting with them is an essential way to further its interest. In order to accommodate artists who enjoy painting in our beautiful state but may live outside of its borders or those Idahoans who have relocated to another state, a category of Associate Membership has been developed. We welcome their perspectives and input!
We plan to host exchange paint outs and exhibits with other groups on a national and international basis and so another category for groups in other states as well as those in Idaho who wish to maintain their own original identity has also been created. Uniting fellow artists with similar interests is a win win situation.
