I was born and raised in Fresno, California and spent my years as a young adult in the coastal community of Ventura, CA. Moved to the high desert of New Mexico to complete a Nursing degree and work with native American patients. I subsequently lived for several year periods in Santa Monica, CA, Tempe, AZ and San Jose, CA before moving to Boise in 1990.
I have been influenced by the diverse surroundings and the art communities I was part of in each of these locations. I have studied with Robert Moore, Gina Leyton and Mike Lundstrom. Currently work with Fred Choate in studio and members of the plein air painters of Idaho on locations in Idaho and Oregon. Awards include Los Gatos (California) Art Association Juried Annual Show, Nampa Art Guild Annual Juried show and selection for Idaho Paints Idaho show 2003 and 2004.
