It is difficult to describe what inspires me, I love all art form. But for me painting is poetry of the heart. To mix colors and move them around the canvas brings intense meaning to the term soul mates. You can give it form or just create a visual feast. The very process moves my soul and when the results touch another's the process complete. For me Art is a concert of being and becoming.
My vision for fine art in the Treasure Valley includes a long term goal to have a Plein Air Painting Museum built here in Boise. It is a natural since world renown Sergei Bongart and Ovanis Berbarian both lived and painted here. Their legacy lives on through former students capturing the beauty of Idaho for all to enjoy for generations to come. It is a movement whose time has come.
